Cleese actually chose the word in context. I heard the article when it went out.
Chapman was his mate and reasonably open about being a "poof" when it wasn't that easy. The whole python crew didn't care

I see the mods have recently taken to correcting/editing the racist/homophobic content, rather than deleting the post. Although they do this without leaving a legible (to us mere mortals) audit trail.
Is this the action of just one mod, or a new approach for all mods?

It would appear that this only applies to members of the cc forum.
Is this another special privilege applicable to those forum members?
Or is it only those forum members that need this 'mod intervention'?
