Hi.

Quick question. Is it possible to connect 1\2" copper piping to 15mm copper piping using normal compression couplers ? Are there ones around that accomodate the different sizes on each side ? I only seem to be able to find 15mm to 15mm compression couplers.

If so, are they something very specialised or do most plumbers merchants have them ?

We have a length of old imperial sized piping in the loft that I need to replace hence the question.

Many thanks

Barrie

15mm and 1/2 is pretty much the same, so 15mm will be fine.

however its 22mm and 3/4 that is not...!

as i found out when a plumber put a 22mm pushfit on a 3/4 pipe that was hidden under a tiled floor.

only took 8 months for it to leak..
