Hi all,

As per the image below I am looking at joining my white guttering to my neighbours brown guttering (permission given).

The joins seems so tight in a small space I’m struggling to make it happen. Any ideas?

Go straight down, and at ground level, empty into his gulley, or make a Y connection.

Put a branch in your neighbours downpipe and connect into that.

Ended up like this if that’s what was meant?

Cool. Anything constructive or just not up to your standards?
A couple of the fittings are the wrong way around (male/female etc). I'd have done it all in round downpipe and converted yours to round DP early on in the run. It's much easier to work with than poxy square.

Definitely could have saved a world of pain by using round like your neighbour.

Thanks guys. I had some square lying around so went with it. Essentially, this has to just get me through to spring/summer when I can get it done properly. It’s a stop gap to prevent the alleyway takin the brunt and flooding.
