Hi everyone,
I am Joining kitchen waste to bathroom waste. Easiest option to run pipe under floor boards on too of beams , however this way the lowest end will be about 20 cm higher than bathroom pipe. Is it ok to drop to it at 45 angle of should I drill holes in bricks (i only need 2 holes) to get it in right level without sudden drop?

You could dry fit it and see, but possible the drop will create and a vacuum and suck gases in. An anti syphon bottle trap might deal with that though.

If you have the time best to put in a gentler slope.

Blup

Does anti syphon has to be on top of joint? There wil be fridge on top, or is it anywhere up the pipe? Under kitchen sink for example?

Good, i was about to drill bricks, but now realised i will need to cut the pipe and straight couplers in order to fit the 3m pipe in those holes, which means another trip to the shop

The small vertical drop will be ok, you could do it with a 45º bend if you wish.

You can warm it with a blow lamp to get a gradual fall to suit if you feel your competent enough.

Is it within regs?
too late..the building control stasi monitor all threads and have already identified the address which is now under surveillance.
The "that's not right bit of pipe" police (from the "special branch") will be round to arrest

They'll want to see if your waste pipe registered so have that to hand.
