Moved on from the bonding strip, now looking for a flexible watertight product to finish off the edge instead of mortar.

I was sure there was some fibrous flexible paste for doing these sort of jobs?

Clearly there is no such product, so I'll be using a sharp sand: building sand : cement mortar mix. 3:1:1

This is the join between my new tiles and next doors old clay ones...

...however as the vertical gap at the overlap between my new tiles and the old is 35mm at the eaves, I had considered using a cloak and trimming it to fit rather than pile loads of mortar in there.
