Hi,

I was wondering if someone can explain how to join or fill in the gap between plasterboard and plaster walls.

I am taking down the coving that hid the gaps between the ceiling and wall. I also built a box around some pipeing (I still have to put on the corner beading and plaster.

Thanks!

In the abscence of the Pros, the answer I reckon is to use scrim tape on the open joints then joint compound the joints, and then either skim the walls or sand down the joint compound.

Whichever you choose will work. Just doing it meself in my kitchen
