I have chased pipes into wall and will be screwing plasterboard to cover the chase and having it plastered.

I will be taping the joins but I need to know is how big can the gaps between new and old boards be.

Thanks :D

keep them as small as you can, if they are a little to wide the plasterer will just pre fill them.

they could be half as wide as the scrim tape but you would not deliberately make them this wide.

as stated, try and avoid too large a gap.

Thanks lads and will bear your advice on board.

The plasterer is coming on Tue.

10 x 10 ft room and ceiling labour only for £120 :D
