Joining Porch Lanterns

I have bought several of these Hereford Porch Lanterns http://www.lightingstyles.co.uk/Ext...h-lights//Hereford_porch_chain_lantern(1).htm and want to connect them together in pairs. The picture below shows an old pair that I have but I can't find where to get the black top bit on the left hand one where the wires are joined. I have asked the question of the manufactuer but no response yet. Are these items specific to Elstead Lighting or is it an item I can get elsewhere?

Are you saying there's a piece missing?

If so, why don't you just buy another fitting?

The arrangement shown in the light on the left looks pretty naff in comparison to hanging them on the chain as designed, with the flex running down the chain.

Why can't you just install them as designed and join the cables out of site?
