Joist notches

Thanks for all the tips on here so far. Interestingly (I like to keep a positive spin on the many "features" of my previously unloved first home), there is also a nice set of notches under some of the joists (some are the same as the ones the builder notched) with a perpendicular beam supporting, see attached photos.

Structurally, those notches would not be a problem unless the bath is positioned against that wall.

The bath will be against the back wall, so entirely over the last two joists. The waste pipe that the notches had been made for were for sink waste. That said, it's not clear how the bath waste will be routed out (as the waste downpipe is directly on the other side of the rear wall, but at the party wall end of a rear addition). The second to last joist is the one with the circular bore and notch that is around 20% along the beam length.
