I've having my traditional heating system replaced with unvented. I'd heard about Megaflow but not sure if they do horizontal cylinders. The plumber told me he was going to get a Telford one, for which I found positive things said about, but has now bought a Joule cyclone 250 indirect horizontal. Are they considered any good? I can't find any opinions on them from google searches. It's going to go with a vaillant 624 system boiler.

Thanks in advance.

I've just fitted a Joule slimline unvented and it's a nice bit of kit. My merchants have swapped to Joule from Gledhill because of better customer service. To date they have sold around 50 with no negative feedback.

Glow worm ultra power.
A cross between combi and unvented cylinder all in one nice box.
Will outperform a 300 litre unvented cylinder and never run out of hot water.

The Megflo is a good bit of kit with a fantastic backup service, however you are paying for the name, there are many manufactures that produce a horizontal cylinder at a much lower price and of similar quality. Joule are a new manufacture to the UK and I understand they import there cylinders but worth considering a more established make such as Telford that have been in the UK for many years with a good reputation....also I believe in Buy British
