I am planning to add a junction box to an upstairs lighting circuit to power two strip lights in the loft. I have a 20amp junction box handy, i realise it should be rated for 5amp.Would using a 20 amp junction box be dangerous? cheers for your time

nope. perfectly safe. using 5 instead of 20 would be plain stupidity...
