can anyone help please

I just fitted a siemens rwb29 programmer to replace an old drayton tempus 3. Trouble is I can't get the heating and the hot water to run at the same time. the unit is wire up the same as the old one and both systems run independently but not together.

Dip switch 5 on the back set correctly?

"Dipswitch 5 can be either up or down depending on your system type, down for gravity, up for fully pumped." Sounds like yours should be up?

Yes. Could it be the wiring in the junction box. I just took the lid off and it looks like spaghetti in there

Did the old one work ok, that is, as you are expecting the new one to work? It should be a straight swap old for new so I would't expect the wiring to fail just because the programmer was changed.
