The front of my extension is close to taking render. My initial thoughts before I started was to pebble dash and paint like the upper part of the house to try and tie it in a bit.
The gravel dashed onto the upper part of the house is quite extreme, 20mm, although doesn’t look that big from the ground. I’m wondering if this replicated close to the ground might seem even more extreme. Other options are a smaller gravel dash or k-rend. I shall be doing k-rend on the back block work as the rear of the house is just brick.
Has anyone got any pearls of wisdom? Practically or aesthetically?
