KA Tanking Slurry - SBR

Planning to use tanking slurry on a building this week. Walls made of up freshly laid concrete blocks.

KA SBR


Has any one had experience with KA products? I was planning to coat the walls with KA SBR at 1:1 ratio, then paint on slurry, wait till dry and add second coat (in opp direction).

Is the SBR needed in this case?

I think the slurry has guidance that sbr is needed when applying it to certain surfaces. I had too use sbr when I used the slurry on a floor.

Worth checking the ka website, as I remember it had guidelines on there

Thanks for reply.

I spoke to the manufacturer of KA and after our discussion decided that SBR is not needed on the walls as they were fresh concrete blocks.

I will however use SBR when using KA on the poured concrete slab floor.
