Kangoo starting problem

Hi all,

Since being sat on the drive over xmas, my trusty van has had trouble starting. I managed to jump it and gave it a good run, next morning same thing.
Used some Easystart in the air intake, and managed to limp it to work, NEXT MORNING SAME AGAIN! To cut a long story short, I've just gone out and bought a new battery but the van still struggles to start. Where can I look next?
By the way, don't be offended if I don't reply for a day or two, heading to the pub now, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

I agree with ch427,it must be something in the air at christmas.
The only time my last astra diesel let me down,was after standing over christmas.Checked the heater plugs,2 were u/s.Fitted a new set and away she went.

Lou Lou, the mileage is 104000, it's a Yreg diesel, good service history although I doubt whether the glow plugs have been changed as part of that, so I'll start with them. Bo$%cks, knew I should have asked for a Haynes manual for christmas!
