Having acquired some faulty machines, and played with a few, one gets to know that there are some similarities. However, some of the machines are identical inside and this is where the Kenwood KCD1W comes in, oh, and so does the White Knight 77AW, it's twin. Condenser tumble dryers are more complicated than vented but really, how hard can they make it to replace a capacitor, belt or pump?

Are they really manufactured with the intention that no one else will ever be able to get inside?

Well it seems so. Surely someone has had to attempt to replace a capacitor in one of these models? How do you get to it without dismantling the whole machine?

I don't know this model personally, but many dryers have to be fully dismantled to get to various things. I never used to think about it and just got on with the job. It is a good chance to vacuum all the fluff out at the same time.

I agree it is the best opportunity to clean them but with this model, well it is just a total rebuild.
