KGUARD Standalone DVR KG-SHA104

Hi There
I have a KGUARD Standalone DVR KG-SHA104 and it as always run smoothly until 2 days ago , my recording method is auto and its always worked fine and when its recording it as the letter R in all of the screens but now its only showing the letter H in one of the screens and nothing in the others and i cant record anymore , i can still see all the cameras but cant record
Does anybody have a clue what is wrong ? if so ? i would very grateful for any help

Hard drive failed ? Try reformatting the hard drive you will lose the recordings but it's worth a go

But i have tried all that and it still doesnt recognise any hard drive , so i tried a usb stick and it doesnt see that either

If it can't see hard drive try a new one !

Thats already crossed my mind m8 ,, its a sata 360 hard driveare they just std ?

Normally I would open up the unit and look for a direct replacement ,had a few from ebay refurbished without an issue

I'm gonna bring the drive home and see if i can format it on my pc if it doesnt ? buying a new one seems the next step
