I had the Kilma mats fitted in my bathroom about six months ago. It works very effectively as secondary heating, and keeps the tiles warm with only a few hours 'live' each day. I am on economy 7 so it costs me about 8p a day. No problems with the installation yet, or the tiles breaking, etc, but I don't know what was involved in actually installing it.
