later in this year i will convert an existing garage to a playroom and i need to insulate the floor before i screed, say 50mm ins & 50mm screed.
now on the site where i am working the agent has offered me enough kingspan tr 27 at 60mm thick to cover the floor.normally this insulation board , with 6mm plywood composite each side, is for class 1 rooofing but my question is can i use it on the floor? also he recommended that the screed is at least 80mm thick with this board or it will crack unless wire mesh is used.
any advice or opinions ,thanks in advance
