We are fitting a unit for a 70 30 integrated fridge(I will buy the fridge later). The height of fridge is 1.78 meters. That leaves a small joint on top? What do I do with this.

Also should I remove the all the back panel on the cabinet in preparation for getting it?

Also socket is directly behind unit. Is this ok?

Sorry, a small joint on top of what. I think we need a picture.

Wait until you get the fridge to check it requirements for ventilation, as the back of the unit will provide a degree of lateral stability.

If you need to take the fridge out to get to the socket, then that's not great. You may need to fit an external switched FCU to allow you to switch off the fridge without having to take it out.

I mean the void left between the top of the cabinet and the top of the fridge, which is about 15cm or so?

I checked the manual, it needs 30mm vent at back So I will take the back board off?

Cut a piece of melamine faced chipboard to fit in the gap, or a piece of kick board which is often 15cm; and then use some edging strip to cover any cuts. As you would have the top of the cabinet covered over at the front, then you could take the same amount off of the rear panel for ventilation.
