Yes. It is heavy, but to be honest not that much heavier than a regular 12.5mm board. I have some of that here as well and it’s around 20% heavier. I do appreciate the advice and one way or the other I will have a rethink.

Not strictly true. Any material that has density/mass will improve things. There does come a point when you wonder how much you need to spend and the effort - v's the gain.
Thanks again all. As said I didn’t purchase them with expectations of total sound deadening. I just thought I may as well as I was reboarding, and it was an extra 15% roughly cost wise.
Appreciate all the advice. I’ve got some 9.5mm on order and being delivered today to go over the top of this layer I’m doing now as even with a board lifter it is proving a bit tricky. I’ve got a couple of other areas downstairs I need to redo as well and so hopefully not too much of it will go to waste.
