Kitchen cooker hood ducting question

Let us just agree to differ, I have had to deal with gas and liquid flow at high and low pressure but not had to do that much at 1 bar absolute. Dont forget that even with a short pipe the entry and exit losses are usually significant, more so than with a long tube

As the OG posting the question and having just cracked on without Bernoulli getting involved I csn
Safely says the fan sounds fine, bacon smell evacuateds so I’m happy out
