Hi All,

My mother-in-law would like to have a soft close on her kitchen drawers. I have already fitted dampers for her kitchen cabinets but am not sure what to look for, nor where to start with regards to the drawer runners.
She currently has the standard runners (house was built circa 2005 by Barretts).
Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated (being a DIY-novice) !

Thanks in advance !!

Oh cr*p, I was hoping that this wasn't the case.
Ok, so once I have found the correct item to provide soft-close, generally speaking would there be much adaptation involved i.e. simple replace or a replace involving my toolkit?
(Sorry for being so basic and a complete novice) !!

Does not matter the runner type you can retro fit a damper to draw , if they are worn ,new draws with soft close built in can be fitted. But more expensive.

Thanks all, now that I have guidance I will go away and investigate the specifics.

Thanks again
