Kitchen Extension Extension?

Hi all

Our kitchen had been extended before we bought the house but we're now considering making it bigger to incorporate the adjacent conservatory.

However, the conservatory sliding doors provide light to the living room behind. This could potentially leave the living room windowless.

I also wondered about how feasible it would be? Or whether people thought costs or drawbacks would outweigh benefits?

It's a distinct possibility - the other is to renovate. Just weighing up the options with the help of the community.

Top up the loft insulation up to 300mm, lift ground floor and fit chciken wire with insulation between joists. Your house would be much warmer.

Cheaper than moving.
