Kitchen flooded for 20 minutes

A flexihose burst in the kitchen cupboard
Water turned off within 5 minutes.
Floor cleared of standing water within 20 minutes.
Ventilation , fan heater and now dehumidifier in situ

Flooring: roll vinyl. Subfloor: half the area is concrete, half suspended wooden floor boards

Do you think we need to lift all the vinyl off the floor to dry it ?

Is it worth getting the insurers to take over and lose our no claims?

Yes to lift the viynl, no to the insurance. It should all dry out.

You will lose your excess and the insurance will go up for the next 5 year.
