kitchen floor

Hi

Am in process of installing new kitchen but one particular units feet are sitting on a join between original floorboards and replacement chipboard. Question.....is this OK? or should/can I lay some 12mm ply under the unit to the edge of the feet so it sits on something more solid?

If you consider that there is a 99.9995 chance of the joints in the differing boards being directly supported by the joists below, given that there are nail or screw fixings visible in the picture up loaded at the edges of the differing boards, then it would appear that the flooring is adequately supported?
