The lino in our kitchen is looking very sad, it's seems to be very thin so you can see the outline of the floorboards underneath and these don't seem to be perfectly level.
If we bought some new cushion floor from a flooring company would they insist on us moving all the appliances out ready for them to install or do they do everything these days?
We don't want to have to disconnect the gas to the cooker, water hoses to washing machine, etc so would they just move them as needed?

I know it depends on the fitter but i was hoping to hear how others faired

I would imagine it depends on what you asked for and the size of the flooring purchased.

Assume they will do the bare minimum and you won’t be disappointed

You would have to ask the company doing the work ,any answers here would be pure guesswork
.

Yes i'll enquire in store, i was hoping there were fitted on here who could tell me what they do

We charge to remove any cookers , washing machines etc. Sometimes we just fit under them a inch or so.
If you have floorboards down you will need 6mm plywood down before the flooring.
