Hi guys

Our kitchen has low ceiling with hood that recirculates so we get lots of condensation.

We're going to duct out through ceiling to exterior wall about 1m away, but considering taking down hood and using an inline extractor fan instead. Is there any problems with doing this? Without the hood, I guess the ceiling will get hit with more steam even with fan on

Cheers

Luke

The hood is much better at trapping greasy fumes and steam before they can diffuse into the room.

Inline fans do not have grease filters.
