I have taken down a fluorescent light fitting from kitchen ceiling and fitted a strip bar light with 4x 50w GU10 lamps, it's a bit bright but lights up work areas perfectly. I have done my calculations and everything seems to be okay. Is it notifiable work? My interpretation of Part P regs says i don't have to. Any comeback on that?

It's a bit late asking now isn't it?

I wouldn't lose sleep over it as long as it's wired correctly and earthed.
