Kitchen lights

Hi to all, hope someone can help?
I have got five strip lights under my kitchen wall cupboards, two of them are continually blowing the tubes, (every 2-3 weeks) these two fittings are linked together using a supplied connector cable between them,
Why would these two linked fittings be failing all the time, and the other three stay ok, they are all wired from a single wall switch in the kitchen, All the fittings are the same make & type,

Are they filament lamps? could it be vibration when you slam the cupboards? might be better on a more rigid bit of the wall?

They are fluorescent fittings, approx 15 inch long,

when they fail, do they flicker and flash a lot, and are the ends blackened? Are they the same brightness as the ones that are working OK?
