Hello,

Am trying to stop a dripping tap but even with the screw holding the tap head in place removed + applying significant elbow grease the tap head will not come off, I cannot whack it or get too aggresive with it as the mixer as a whole is a cheap bit of kit that will not withstand any more force than what I've attempted, also the shape of the tap head won't allow a decent grip with a wrench to try and prise it off.

Please see attached photo, any suggestions as to how to get the head off so that a new washer can replace the worn out one?

Thanks

Try pouring boiling hot water over the handle ,the heat may expand it enough to free it up.
Are they quarter turn ,or screw down type ?

Hello,

they're 1/4 turn, it's quite a flimsy bit of kit so your suggestion may be the only way to get the tap head off without causing irreparable damage,

thanks.
