Sorry if this doesnt make sense as I am a novice in this. My kitchen sink has a knob that when turns it opens the plugwhole, however the whole mechanism has come out and it doesnt fit back in the whole in the sink. I press the white knob undernesth into the whole in the sink but it popps back out again and I can not use it. The mechanism work but the whole seems for some reason to be bigger than the white plastich knob which fts in the whole or the groves on the white knob has gone. Can this be put back in place by some kind of washer or glkue as I can not seem to find the way to take the white plastic washer/screw out to replace
