Hi All,

Hope you can help. My bath has a pop up plug which is operated by turning a knob which I situated on the overflow.

The mechanism has stopped working so I cannot release the plug. The knob turns but to no effect

This is a picture of the type of plug it is

I think the chain has snapped so I wondered if there was any way to replace this or will I have to replace the whole set up?

Many thanks for any advice

Rob

If you can pull out the plug you might find a bolt which requires adjustment (outwards). Try that first

Quite likely the long screw has unscrewed itself and is sitting in the trap.
