Kitchen tap plus sprayer advise?

I've had a tap installed with a pull out spray. When the lever is turned to tap only it is still coming out the sprayer as well as the tap. The seller said that's normal? Can anyone advise please? Surely it's not right?! Thanks

I certainly wouldn't be happy with it. Google make and model and see what you come up with.

Send it back.

If its meant to do that then it is crap.

If its not meant to do it then it is totally crap.
