Hi,

We are currently in the process of sorting out our kitchen.

We want to move one of our double units along to make room for a dishwasher.

Is it possible to move the units along without removing the work surface?

Thanks!

Yes it's possible , likely to be akwared but possible.
Firstly remove the plint at the bottom, normally it will pull off, and you should see some legs. These are normally adjustable by turning. Now remove any fixings that you can see into the wall and worktop to free the unit and then wind down the legs to lower the unit. That should hopefully give you the room to move the unit sideways. I'm assuming that the end of the worktop is supported by something else like another unit ?
Finally refit by doing the above in reverse.

Wind up the legs to free, the units are likely to be screwed to each other, so those fixings will also require removal. If you don't need to keep the unit being removed you can run a jigsaw thru the base and any cross members to aid removal.
