Hi folks, I am installed over the freezer wall cabinets on a batten wall. The units are 600x600x400 and I want to check what's the best way to secure these?

There is a hollow space between the plaster board and brick work (40mm).

I was thinking of getting the Rawlplug of Fischer Hammer In Frame fixing screws but not sure if the hollow space would make the plasterboard weak.

Another option would be to put 40mm wooden pieces behind the wall cabinet hangers but not sure if it would be an overkill..

The units will be screws to another cabinet at one end and the end panel at the other end.

Please can someone advise what's the best option?

Many thanks

find the batens

The battens don't align to any of the holes and adding a rail means they are not flush to the wall leaving a gap at the end panel.

I got these bad boys:

Perfect for the job and very sturdy.
