Kitchen work surface question ....

Hello people, looking at having a go at fitting another kitchen surface with a right angled attachment. Now I understand I would be best getting a "jig" and I already own a router, but not sure what to buy ? There are loads on the Bay of E, but ??????

Any help of what to look at and what to steer clear of would be appreciated

Not sure of router size, but will check when I get home and report back....

if its about 6kg and around £150-£300 its a decent 1/2" router

Sorry not got back but its a Bosche and it was no where near that cost wise....

fair play for wanting a go,but in this case i think its best left to the experts to do.
other wise i feel you may cock up the worktop which will negate in any saving.
