Hi, I've got a kitchen worktop that's got a burn mark from hot pan.
I'm thinking about routing out a section and inserting a ceramic wall tile as I'm not in a position to replace the whole worktop.
Does that sound like a reasonable idea or would it be likely to cause any issues, eg would it withstand heat of a pan, etc.

Thanks

Yip, I’ve been called before to do that for someone. Better being a porcelain tile than a ceramic tile, and it’ll need epoxy resin ( food grade grout)
