Kitchen

+Orange paint sample arrived and I reckon it'll look amazing.. or at least better than the snot ("lime") green I tried first :D
Only is that it's bright but not particularly "light".

Colours don't show up well in the DIY kitchen planning tool.

Bold colours are best on one wall only. It will saturate the room otherwise.

Its called a "feature wall".

Sorry for the slow update- busy with work.

Kitchen delivered (from DIY kitchens)- Luca Gloss White. Looks good so far but I haven't unpacked everything.

I am only doing the main part of the kitchen first. Pretty basic design. Eventually I kept the cooker in the inner wall. It's a compromise- key downside is I can only have a recirculating hood fan. Dishwasher is under sink draining board.

I temporarily relocated the old sink to the utility area so kitchen remains functional.

Key jobs before fitting:
1. Finish electrics.
2. Plumbing (re-route hot pipe for shorter run from boiler, add dishwasher tap etc).
3. Plaster.
