Hi

When knocking down a wall would I be better off using a kango drill or a sledge hammer?

Cheers

both.
a sledge hammer will have a broader damage pattern whilst the concentrated impact of a breaker will be more direct.

use the breaker when chiselling out the first uppermost courses of bricks and to 'get into' the wall, and to bolster the sides.

use a heavy, lump or sledge for the rest.

ok thanks for your time, will give it a bashing tomorow
