KOHLER - easy to plumb in?

We are about to buy sanitaryware for a newly created en-suite. Before going on holiday, our plumber advised us to avoid certain brands of sanitary ware as they are awkward to plumb in. We are considering a Kohler WC and basin and wonder if anyone has experience of these.

Are they a good brand? How reputable are they?
Are they OK to plumb in?

Kohler are a very good brand and very reputable.
As for plumbing, easy dependent on your knowledge, if fitting the concealed cistern versions a little more work, Is your plumber Polish.

Plumber doesn't appear to be Polish. Just says he curses Wickes and B&Q sanitary ware!
