I have an old labels programme, this is installed on my pc running xp, but I think the programme is win98. (This prog was copied to the pc not installed)
I have found a way to run it & design a label, but when I go to print it I get an error Im guessing that its just not configured correctly.

Is it possible to run it using win98?.

Its a microsoft error message, the usual send report, debug, dont send

Try running it in compatibility mode (Win98)

Find the exe of the program;

Right click on it, go to properties, click the compatibility tab, select the win98 mode.

Thats all i've got im afraid!

Ta for that, thats is just what Im trying to do. But cant seem to find the .exe

Just found the options to run it, still falls over at the print stage.

Other thing to check is that your priniter is set as your default printer, you probably only have one printer but sometimes there is a fax driver installed or something similar.

Go to start --> printers and faxes, right click on your printer and click set as default.

Some legacy programs were funny about this, but obviously will noly apply if you have more than one printer listed.
