Hi,

Please could someone give me a rough idea what the going rate per m or m2 is for the labour only element of fixing roof tiles and associated works on a new build roof.

Please note the following:-

Roof tiles to be fixed are Marley Edgemere tiles.

Roof area is approximately 225m2 and there are 5 Dorma windows to tile inclusive of this quantity,

The roof is also to be felted and battens are to be fixed- 225m2.

The ridge is approximately 40m and there are 38m of lead valley's (would a roofer do these?)

The house is a large detached new build. Scaffold will be provided.

How long would each element take. Please base this upon a 2+1 gang (2 roofers and one labourer).

Any further information would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Gaz.

Why not get some local contractors round to quote you on labour?
