Laminate strip to the visible raw edge of your worktop

What do people recommend to use for fixing laminate strip to the visible raw edge of your worktop. I don’t trust B&Q recommendation and was hoping for something more robust and hard wearing.

An iron, most laminate is iron on, it has hot melt glue on the back.

Otherwise I would use Evostick contact adhesive.
