Can anyone help me by telling me how I can make a transition of my kitchen to living room? There's hardly any sort of gap between the two floors for me to use any door bar ive found.im also reluctant to have to drill holes in my flooring thank you for any help.

I agree with the person before, self adhesive bars are very easy to find that will have no centre point so will sit nice and flat. Also aliminium or brass cover plates that might need screws could be another option. THese can be found at any carpet or flooring shop

If you go for cover plates, and you have to screw into the laminate itself, use short scres that will not fix the profile to the subfllor, else you'll restrict movement and may blow the floor.
