Laminate underlay on wooden subfloor

What sort of underlay should I use on a wooden sub-floor? Am I best to a foam or fibre boards? Below are examples of what I'm looking at.

Foam roll:

It is being fitted in a dining room if it makes any difference.

Fibre boards or something like TimbermateXL for concrete subfloors or Duratex for wooden subfloors.

The thin foam is inferior to the product types above.
