Lamp Shade Removal

Hello everyone! My first post here.

Today I pressed the dimmer switch for the light in the photo attached and the bulb must have blown. Does anyone know how I can remove the lamp shade safely to replace the bulb? The shade is quite heavy so did not want to attempt it without advice.

Stand on something and take a closeup photo of where the cable enters.

I have a similar one where you have to undo a small hex grub screw and slide up a cover. It is then possible to lift the glass off the bracket.

A second pair of hands might help,

The method I used was this however that may help when replacing but not for removing.
