Landing+Bathroom on one 3 gang

Just wondering if there's anything in the regs stopping you putting two separate switches on one outlet (with individual switches for each).

For example combing these on a 3 gang:

No you can do it, maybe ones a double pole (for the fan maybe) and thats why its been done that way?

The fan has a separate isolator, that's just a normal light switch, didn't know if they split the switches for regs or just to make it obvious it's for a separate room.

Turn the power off and take some pictures of the connections so you dont mix them up when you do it.



And obviously you will have a hole to fill.

Having said that by removing one of the switches you might take the cables out of zone so be careful of that.

Just be aware if the back box is 25mm getting the extra cables in could be tight

Cheers for this guys, I'm alright with the rest, plan to put smart switches in and will need to cut out the noggin to get bigger back boxes in.

Just checking there wasn't some weird UK reg I'd be breaking for something relatively simple.

Just to add make sure that you turn the correct circuit (s) off
