I have a crack from floor to ceiling in the middle of an internal wall, so in order to fill it l started racking it out. I found that the cause of the crack is the breeze blocks at that point of the wall are edge to edge from floor to ceiling and not overlapped as you would expect. I am concerned that if l fill the crack it will just reappear a short time later because of the blocks not being interlaced. Any ideas as to how l can resolve?

This is a picture description of what you need to do :-
Note , you dont need to use the special glue , strong mortar should do. Instead of an angle grinder, use a hammer and chisel. Lengths of stiches need be no more then 12".

A crack is a symptom of something. Before repairing any crack, you need to know what has caused it, and whether the cause needs to be addressed.

Only then can the correct remedial work be determined.
