hi folks,

total decking novice.

i've almost finished laying 100 lengths of deck (yes 100!!) at the bottom of my garden under a lean-to / pergola.

I have already stained the lean-to and i'm unsure what to do next.

I want the deck to be the same colour as the lean-to.

Therefore ideally i want to use the orignal stain material but them i need to teak it.

Would i apply one, wait till dry, and then the other?

any insight would be great thanks.

don't stain decking you will only regret it when it starts peeling off in a few years and you have to scrape and powerwash to try and get it all off before redoing it. Decking oil is the best aftercare to use.

can you get decking oil in the shade which i have stained the rest of the pergola?
